đ ️ Job Description:
As a Welding Inspector, your primary role will be to
ensure that all welding activities at the site comply with approved procedures,
industry standards, and client requirements (KNPC/KOC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct
inspections of welding activities during fabrication, installation, and
testing phases
- Review
and approve WPS, PQRs, and welder qualifications
- Monitor
welding parameters and ensure compliance with approved procedures
- Perform
visual inspections and non-destructive testing coordination (VT, RT, UT,
PT, etc.)
- Maintain
welding inspection records and generate detailed reports
- Ensure
adherence to KNPC/KOC standards, codes (ASME, API, AWS), and HSE protocols
- Coordinate
with QA/QC engineers, site supervisors, and third-party inspectors
- Raise
and follow up on NCRs, weld repair records, and punch points
✅ Candidate Requirements:
- Diploma
or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8–10
years of relevant experience in welding inspection (Oil & Gas
mandatory)
- Must
have hands-on experience with KNPC / KOC projects
- Certified
as CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2, AWS-CWI, or equivalent
- Strong
understanding of welding techniques, codes, and non-destructive testing
- Proficient
in documentation, reporting, and site coordination
- Must
be currently residing in Kuwait with a transferable visa (18)
